Cozy Reading Nook – So Me
Not many words needed here. I am totally, madly in love with this reading nook. And that’s because, I am a huge book & art lover. I like my book areas to be organized but show life. I love the color gray. Seats should be comfortable with a capital C. Mixing old with new is my style (look at the ceilings and the industrial book shelves). Slipcovers work great with 3 young kids, messy huz & 2 spoiled cats. I crave daylight. I like just about everything in this room down to the simple reading light and the fresh flowers. (This image is going straight to my personal “So Me” file).
Happy new week to you all! I hope you all are off to a good start! Sending you warm thoughts and good energy. Hug, Monika.

And it is really me too! I could immediately jump into this sofa and you will not hearing of me in hours while reading books….

Count me in! I am a real serial reader and can disappear completely for hours behind a good book!
(Har du last Viveka Stens bocker? Som Camilla Lackberg..).
Missing a table though. The water-o-holic I am, I do need somewhere to leave my drink..

oh how couldn’t you? simply dreamy! slipcovers are a must-have for me two… with 2 boys, 1 spoiled huz, 1 spoiled kitty and 1 spoiled pup!
I love it, too… That ceiling, and slipcovers, and light…and books. Not to mention the stack of books on the right of the frame – so sculptural. Good to read and pleasing to look at.

Oooooh, this is beautiful! I think I could spend days in that one spot, and never feel bored. What a great image to kick off the new week. Happy Monday!
Aaah! I could so easily become a hermit if I had THAT cushy chair and all THOSE books! Add the champagne and sweets from your prior post and make that a happy, fat hermit!
Oh, I used to have one but then I downsized
I am SO with you here. Combine books and gray and you have heaven. My little den has a bookshelf wall and I am just thinking of painting those gray. It will be a lot of work, but so worth it, I think!
Oh I love this! It looks so very comfy. I could spend all day in there.
I want a couch similar to that .. white slipcovered & cozy. Hopefully one day soon!! xo

Oh I love this – you could just sink right into those big cushions! A comfy spot, such a selection of beautiful books – and now all you need is an afternoon to yourself!
I’m so with you on this one! Minus the cat, you could substitute me for you and I agree with every sentiment. This is wonderfully inviting. I would never leave!
Oh my goodness, I just want to live in this room! I love everything about it!!!
I agree with Ally — I would live in that room…spending my time curled up on that great sofa with a blanket, tea, my pup and a good book…every once in awhile looking outside or admiring that gorgeous ceiling
